• BISTEX is operated and managed by Robert Brummell. Born and raised in Pittsburg, TX, Robert graduated from Texas A&M @ Commerce in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He and his family have resided in the metroplex since 1993. In his spare time, Robert enjoys golf, hunting, history and gardening.
• With over 20 years of personal engineering, accounting, and sales management know how, along with 15 plus years of combined family experience in the real estate and inspection field, the BISTEX family is ready to help educate you so that you can make an informed decision regarding your real estate investment. In addition, you will have a solid reference for maintenance needs down the road.
• A comprehensive report will be delivered within 24 hours of the on-site inspection via email, disk or hard copy. Clients are welcome to attend the inspection and should allow for at least 30 minutes at the end of the inspection to review the structure.
• BISTEX provides new and pre-owned home inspections, commercial inspections, 12 month new home warranty inspections, foreclosure and investment inspections and maintenance consultations.

WHY AN INSPECTOR Because a real estate investment is normally the largest investment a person will ever make, hiring an inspector simply makes cents. In other words, if someone is going to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a home or commercial structure, doesn't it reason to invest a few hundred to have a knowledgeable professional look over the property before the contract is signed? Having a pre-sell or pre-purchase inspection of the property can save the seller a lot of heartache and the buyer thousands of dollars in repair costs due to finds that may have gone unnoticed by the untrained eye.

WHY BISTEX??

• Using BISTEX is similar to going to the doctor for a sore throat. He can diagnose the sore throat, but will refer you to a specialist if your tonsils need removed. Likewise, we can diagnose a roofing problem or an electrical issue, but our customers will be referred to a roofer or electrician for further evaluation and/or repair estimates. When this situation occurs, we maintain a fair and calm demeanor when explaining the matter, hence, we have good bedside manner.
• By providing a personal touch with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, service and education, my hope is to build relationships with individuals and companies who enjoy working with experienced, well traveled, positive professionals.
• On site service usually takes two to four hours depending on the size of the structure. This will insure enough time for a thorough inspection and client walk thru and review. Remember, anything broken can be fixed.
• We understand the importance of getting the written report finished and delivered in a timely manner. Our reports are normally delivered via email, hard copy or by disk within twenty-four hours of the inspection completion.
